WHY REWRITE THE SCORE?

Our lives are shaped by stories we never chose. The expectations, structures and narratives we inherited that quietly inform our decisions, what we believe is possible, and who we feel free to be. Much like a musical score shapes every note before a single one is played, every woman lives with a score of her own.

Many of us follow that score for years before we think to question it. Rewrite the Score is an invitation to do exactly that – guided by powerful women who have learned to trust their own voice, and fiercely declared ‘this is who I am.’

Their incredible stories show us what is possible when you stop following someone else's score and start creating a life that feels truly your own.

MEET REN

A smiling woman with blonde hair wearing a red blazer against a pink background.

Ren Barlow is a singer-songwriter and creative change-maker whose career has been built on one simple act: learning to trust her own voice.

Through music, business, philanthropy and personal reinvention. Ren has spent most of her life exploring what it means to find your voice and create meaningful change.

With more than a decade in music, she has released multiple studio albums exploring resilience, self-worth and transformation.

Ren is also founder of The Literacy Gift, supporting literacy, storytelling and opportunities for future leaders.

But most importantly, Ren knows what it means to start over – to question the path she’s on and to find the courage to choose something different.

Her wish for us all is to find our voice, shape our story – and change our world.
